Car Conversations

Two mornings this week Dustin went in early so I had to take Miles in myself. Here are basic rundowns of two adorable conversations we had:

Wednesday:
Momma, the moon!
Yes, baby, that's the moon.
Momma, moon is far away.
Very good!
Moon is white!
Yes, good job. And did you know it only comes out at night?
Moon come out at night?
Yes, at night.
Where is moon going?
Ummm... The moon is going home now.
Oh... moon is far away.
Yes, buddy.

Thursday:
Momma, where moon?
No moon today buddy. There are too many clouds.
Clouds?
Yes, clouds. Oh, look at the orange clouds (sun was rising)
Ohhhhh It's beautiful!
Yes! It is beautiful, isn't it! That's called a sunrise. A beautiful sunrise.
A beautiful sunnnnnet
SunRISE
Sunnet
SunRISE
Sunmap
Ok, good try. Do you know who we should thank for this beautiful sunrise. We should thank Jesus.
Beautiful Sunmap! It's orange. Pink! Red! The Sun!

Then several minutes later we got to daycare and got out of the car.
As we waved bye bye to the beautiful "sunmap," his last little words got me. He said out of nowhere, "Thank you Jesus for the beautiful sunrise."
Cute.
