The Miles ladies.
So, as we all know, I'm a little (a lot) behind on my blogging.
Here are the Thanksgiving photos that I desperately owe the Verpooten/McDermotts. Don't worry, Katie! You don't have to see Miles and those necklaces again. :)
All family get togethers basically break down into two events: games and food. So th at's how I'm breaking down this post.
The games:
Poker: Arthur shuffles the cards during our Texas Hold 'Em tournament. Kirk and Sarah ended up splitting the winnings at the end.
Nintendo Wii: Bowling is the game of choice. Miles isn't really playing yet. He just holds the controller and thinks he's playing.
Baby games: This was an intense game of "my hand" and "no, my hand" while grandma chased him around the kitchen. No one else really understood the thrill of the game like these two did. :)
Puzzles: Man this kid is a puzzle whiz right now.
Food:
Gary carves the Thanksgiving turkey.
Kyle, Katie and Dustin pick out food for their plates. 
Miles gets really excited over all the food.
Liz, Kirk, Nancy and Arthur enjoy the hours of labor that went into the big meal. 
Dustin's devours his disappearing mac 'n cheese after the rest of the family tricked him into thinking it was all gone.
**Christmas to come shortly. Just want to note that these were up within my one week deadline -- just barely! ;)
