Miss Kish, his teacher, has a behavior chart that he is obsessed with. Each kid starts at green in the morning. If they don't listen or misbehave, they pull their clothespin off the green and have to move it to yellow. It can go down to orange and if they get to red, she sends a note home.
On the opposite side, if they do really well they can move up to blue. If they are awesome, they can move their clip again to sparkly purple. And this is his main goal in life now.
Sparkly purple.
We hear about it every day. What color he was. What color his friends were. Who was yellow.
Yesterday he came home with his first sparkly purple day on his calendar.
Super excited.
After some big hugs and reward candy, he let us know that he will just keep trying his best. He's not sure if he will be sparkly purple every day, but he'll sure try.
