Our 4th was again filled with food, friends, fireworks and family.
We have had so many storms this summer that Drew didn't mind the fireworks noise much -- as long as I covered his ears with my hands. He kept saying, "rain! Rain!" Every time a firework went off. He thought it was thunder.
